  • Who is the character telling the story?

  • What does the character want?

  • Why did the character go on the adventure?

  • What is the character afraid of? 

  • What does the character learn by the end?

  • Which character do you like best?

  • Which character is like you?

  • What do you think they will find in the place where there is a hole in the map?

  • If you had to go on an adventure, what would you pack?

  • If you made up a griffin, what bird would you pick to make the front half, and what cat would you pick to make the back half? Can you draw a picture of it?
