I Care About You No Matter What Choices You Take

You might not appreciate

Me saying this to you,

But this choice you are telling me about

Sounds like a

Not-so-good idea.

I know it’s your life,

And you choose for yourself.

If it turns out great,

Great!

But if it turns out sour

And all tumbles down hill

In a heap

In a ravine,

I will not point

And say, “I told you so.”

I will just be there

If you want to talk

Or want a rope

Or a water bottle

Or a band aid with a kiss on your knee.

I want you to know

I care about you no matter

What choices you take.

And when I inevitably

Tumble into my own

Ravine

Please,

Be patient with me

Even if you told me so.
