It's Okay to Not Know What Your Future Looks Like

Updated: Jun 11, 2022

When did we start

Prioritizing

Forecasts

Of sunny and

75 degrees?

And when we’re wrong

We shy from the eyes

Behind eager microphones.

We go back

To the drawing board

As if our P’s and Q’s

Will change

The barometer,

But it’s all a lot of hot air.

Who asked you

To paint

The skies of tomorrow?

It’s okay to be surprised.
