You Can Break the Cycle

I wonder

If what hinders us

Is a ghastly

Ghost story

So rehearsed and revered

We fail to ask

If it’s true in the

Broad light of day.

You’ve heard it

So long

It lives in your bones

With the other dust that’s

Something to sneeze at.

But once you are aware,

Die-hard habits

Become a choice.

Don’t hire out

When you have your own

You can break the cycle.
